The result is an image with intentional structure, not a lucky output.
What does 4K actually mean for my images?
Every image pensil.io generates is rendered at native 4K pixel resolution - up to 4096x4096px depending on the aspect ratio. A 16:9 YouTube thumbnail is output at 3840x2160px. An Instagram square post at 4096x4096px. You get the full 4K file on download with no compression or resizing. This is the same output size as professional stock imagery.
Do I own the images I create?
Yes, completely. All images you generate with pensil.io are yours to use personally or commercially without attribution. We make no claim over any image created through the platform.
What's the difference between monthly and yearly billing?
Yearly billing gives you the same features at a lower per-month rate - Creator drops from $12 to $9/mo (25% off), Pro from $29 to $19/mo (34% off), and Agency from $99 to $69/mo (30% off). You're billed as one annual payment.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account. You keep access until the end of your current billing period with no extra charges.
Is there a limit on image formats?
No. All plans include all six formats - YouTube thumbnails, Instagram posts, Instagram stories, Twitter/X banners, blog headers, and fully custom aspect ratios with any ratio you specify.
